Thousands of people fell in love with boxing because of Arturo Gatti.

I had Gatti-Ward 1 on at a house party. At the start of the fight, there were 2 people watching. By the 7th round there were about 20 people watching. By the end of the fight, people were tearing up and cheering like they were at a live event and their favorite fighter of all time was fighting, and the entire party was in 1 room.

Truest warriors of the last 15 years- Gatti, Corrales, Izzy, Morales. Are there any left?

Arturo's passing got me paralized, atonished for a week long, unable to think of boxing actuality. Sad to the bone. That's how it felt.

        RIP hero!

You want to get someone into boxing? Show them an Arturo Gatti fight. Boxing lost a true warrior. I wouldn't be too surprised if a dictionary has Gatti's pic next to the word 'Heart'. May he rest in peace.

Arturo Gatti, you are nothing short of INSPIRING

If there was anything that define you it was, HEART,DETERMINATION, and just the WILL and REFUSAL TO GO DOWN...

i was watchin HBO's special on the gatti-ward trilogy and i had to stop myself from tearin up a lil bit....

it is just so sad that a great warrior like you had to go the way you did

            REST IN PEACE
