In his first 8 fights Henry Armstrong had won 5, been defeated 3 times and knocked out once. But would go on to hold Titles in 3 different weight division at the same time and be remembered at one of the best of all time.

At one stage in his career Manuel Ortiz was 23-10-1. But would go on to become Bantamweight Champion and make 15 defences of the Title.

In his first 20 fights Benny Leonard had been stopped and knocked out 3 times, but would go on to rule the Lightweight division and become one of the best Lightweights of all time.

In his first 12 fights Pipeno Cuevas was defeated 5 times and knocked out on his debut. But would go on to become of the best Welterweights in the world.

In his first 3 fights Dwight Muhhamad Qawi was 1-1-1, but would go no to become the WBC LHW Champion of the world and a Hall Of Famer.

Plenty More but a good few.

The Marquez brothers both lost their pro debuts. JM was disqualified due to a headbutt, Rafael was overmatched against a former world champ.
