  • Morales & McCullough Go To War

Rounds 11 & 12. Even though the fight was largely dominated by Morales, what great back and forth action. The last two rounds and round 4 were particularly action packed. Man I miss El Terrible.

Great fight. What a chin McCullough had.

Yeah really entertaining fight, both fighters gave it there all.

McCullough had one hell of a chin in his prime. Hamed,Morales,Zaragoza all could not finish him inside the distance, and he gave all a good fight to all especailly Zaragoza.

It's a shame now that McCullough fights way beyond his prime years, and with a medical issue with brian.

He says he still going to be world champion but in his last 5 fights has lost 4, and in his outing was tko'd by Juan Ruiz, who had lost his last 3.

I think he should now just reitire and enjoy his boxing memories and be rembered as a former WBC bantamweight champion and having one of the best chins of his era

Instead of really risking his health and getting tko'd by fighters who have a .KO% of 25.

I watched this fight for the first time earlier and scored it a draw.

Morales looked terrible between rounds and I read somewhere he said he almost quit on his stool at the end of the 9th.

Respect to both fighters, this fight deserved a better crowd and atmosphere (e.g. Froch v Bute) classic bout.
