Did you get the link I posted?

The rematch is good too. Not quite as action-packed, but dramatic.

Yeah I downloaded it. I'll probably watch the rematch either later tonight or tomorrow.

What I loved about this fight is I didn't know much about it going in. I knew who Saad Muhammad was obviously, but all I've heard about it was that it was a classic, but had no idea who the winner is. I wasn't scoring it, but it seemed pretty close, and my god the last round. That was like an old Vazquez-Marquez 3 round 12, except even more dramatic.

My god what an awesome fight.

Nigel Collins said both Johnson and Saad got $2,500 for this bout. Gross pay.

When boxing writers talk about Philly wars, this is like the quintessential one.

Nigel Collins named it as the greatest fight he ever saw. Him being from Philly, no wonder he loves this fight.

That was a great fight, Saad Muhammad was involved in a lot of great fights that don't get the attention they deserve.

Yeah I was watching one of the Qawi fights and that was great too. I think it was the first one.

Muhammad wasn't the same after the first Qawi fight, second fight with Lopez, second fight with Johnson, his fight with Kates etc. were all great fights.

Kelvin Seabrooks reminded me of Saad.

Muhammed is one of the most unapreciated fighters to have ever stepped into the ring. He put his life into every fight of his, even in his decline.

Somebody please tell me they have a link to this fight somewhere, I have been looking through some old tapes trying to find it, but couldn't find it. I was actually talking about this fight the other day on the general board. I liked both the Muhammed's Mathew and Eddie. BTW, does anyone know what happened to James "Great" Scott by any chance?
