ricardo lopez and arguello are good examples, and obviously some of you are getting technique confused with skill, "textbook technique" a.k.a "throwing the punches text book" and cotto lost to margarito because he wasnt as tough, at the highest level its the toughest man wins, cotto couldnt keep up with the pressure of margarito thats why he lost, in the first 6 rounds cotto was pretty much dominating.

by text book technique, i literally mean, throwing the punches perfectly as a textbook would say to throw it. so yeah, this may mean short "but noticable" punches. Mike Mccallum and Don Curry certainly didnt have better technique then either guys.
