The hard knock-downs of Larry Holmes.

Larry Holmes might have had some of the best recuperative powers of any HW. Here's two brutal KD's suffered from right hands. First it's Renaldo 'Mr' Snipes (3.05):

And here against Earnie Shavers (4.50):

Holmes had the best recuperative powers I've ever seen in a Heavyweight. No one could be reasonably been expected to get up after that Shavers right hand but Holmes did and went on to stop Shavers in the 11th. In the fight with Tyson Holmes actually had the fight stopped before he hit the canvas and could attempt to get up. Still, once down he was trying to rise and the people wouldn't let him! If it hadn't been for the referee waving the fight off I've no doubt Larry would have gotten up again and tried to fight on.
