God that fight gets overrated in terms of doing Hatton in. Before that fight he was an amazing fighter with amazing stamina and a great chin, now he's just ok with a weak chin and suspect stamina and is also completely shot and not the same fighter?
Hence why I said it can be argued.

It is not uncommon for fighters to move up at age 28 like duran did, and fight great fighters up to age 32 like duran did, but what is uncommon is that his fans ignore the fact that almost every other great fighter including most top lightweights have moved up around the same age that Duran did. Not many had as many fights or where as dominant over a decade at lightweight, but the current fighter also did not have the extremly "bum-heavy" padded list of fights (30+) that where of records and fighers not qualiied to be a sparring partner, yet alone fight for the champions ship.

I think Duran did change due to the fallout from quiting. True, but even peak duran would not beat Leoanrd if he boxed, or hearns at 154, or Hagler, maybe he would beat Benitez at 154. No duran simply at lightweight ws a true great, but not that great as he moved up, but we dont ever hear Duran fans acknowledge other lightweights (whitacker, dlh, Mosley, Robinson, Maywether, Armstrong,) all may not have won as many fghts at lightweght but did move up more successfully.

Mate, you are just incredible. You just don't give up do you. You honestly have one of the scariest, weirdest obsessions I've ever come across on the internet. Really sad.

You do know there are other fighters still fighting today don't you? Not just Leonard (love) and Duran (hate)?

        Jesus Christ mate....

        Right fookin' freak.
