    knelling down

I remember playing a video game called knockout kings 2000 years ago. If your boxer was tired you could make him knell down on 1 knee with a glove touching the canvas. This would count as a knockdown does anyone know anything else about this and how it applies to the sport and do they have any examples of this thank you.

you mean just taking a knee? happens all the time. usually a move done by veteran fighters. some people think it's weak, but i think it's a smart move if necessary.

judah did it when he fought cotto. that's just the first example that comes to mind, but it happens all the time.

yes it may seem like a cowardly move but it's a smart move to avoid damage when you know you're going down. better to take a safer knockdown than wait for a punch that will rock you.
