The worst example of corner work in your opinion?

It has to be Lewis -v- Tyson for sure.

Tyson was let down big time by his corner.

Don't get me wrong, Tyson stood 2 chances of winning that fight; zero & none, but I still think his corner allowed him to take more punishment than was necessary.

Tyson was totally spent by the end of round 3 after round 7, he was practically begging to be pulled out.

His trainer was imploring him to step it up & go to work & Tyson just said, "I'm done" & "I'm gone", yet they sent him out for the 8th, to be poleaxed by Lewis.

Tysons corner was a disgrace after he fired Kevin Rooney. The worst corner'work' in Tysons career was in the Douglas fight. Tyson had a swelling and the corner didnt use an endswell but a waterfilled CONDOM.. WTF?????

recently, as in this year - the worst corner work i've seen is that of Katsidis's corner. As he was slowly getting beaten back, instead of making Mick keep his composure - they said nothing to him. On British tv the commontators (nelson) was even shouting at the corner to "say something" and that they were saying "nothing!" in the "most important fight of his career."

to me it would be the ****** rotation system applied to Hameds corner v Barrera, one round it was Steward the next it was Suarez. Actually the worst is when i saw Klitchko's cut man vigorously wipe the blood from his cuts (v Lewis) with a ****ing towel, he very probably opened them up worse

Tyson's rubber glove was pretty bad. Helped about as much as a damp towel would.

Juan Diaz was let down against Nate Campbell. The cutman kept applying the same formula even though it wasn't doing ****.

Was going to say the same thing...Hamed vs. Barrera.

At the end of the day, if anyone needed consistancy it was Hamed after leaving the Ingle gym. The biggest fight of his career and he was going in with new corner men, after dumping the ones that had been with him since an 11 year old amatuer.

Can't belive no one has mentioned the Lacy-Calzaghe fight

His corner shudda pulled him out of that fight, it ruined him taking all that punishment.

I got to say the WORST corner I have ever seen was when Diego (pelucho) Morales,Eric's lil brother, got DQ'd when the cornerman jumped into the ring at the 10 second bell. Morales was winning the fight easily. All I could say was ,WTF happened?????
