    still being a bully

oscar again fighting a much smaller opponent in s. forbes, he must of not learned his lesson with PBF. i even read in THE RING MAGAZINE, APRIL 2008, p.41, that oscar was challenging PAC-MAN, a 130 pounder!!!!!! Also ricky hatton came up... like theres no one at 154 to fight. Shame on you oscar. the greatest money marker in boxing of all time??? YES a good fighter that fought on even grounds???? NEVER.

Biggest money with the lowest percieved risk isn't about being a bully it's about smart business. Roy Jones vs no-hoper after no-hoper for 7 or 8 figure purses, Floyd had the same pattern even when he was being paid "slave wages" lol. With Oscar's sustained high level of competition from before his prime through now he's earned an easy fight here and there.

Do you consider Williams and Hearns as bullies then?

Oscar's a bully because he forced Forbes to do this?

            I think not.

I am no great admirer of DLH but he's not a bully and he's fought very scary competition and got beat trying to fight them.

The guy's had a ridiculous workload and taken on sizeable opponents just as often. Mayorga, Hopkins, Vargas, Trinidad...

                  Hagler?

Hagler defended his middleweight title against Ray Leonard (who had spent basically his whole career at 147 and 154), Tommy Hearns (jr. middleweight champ at the time), and Roberto Duran (jr. middleweight champ at the time).

I do agree that the Fishnet fights smaller guys quite a bit, but he's not the only guy who's fought smaller guys in megafights for big paydays.

Comprehensive! Hagler, Hearns and SRL all fought Duran.

Hopkins came down how many pounds to fight De La Hoya?
