  • Showmenship is boxing

Hey guys, I looking for fights with fighters showing great showmenship in the fight.
Bolo punches, fake bolo punches, clowning, etc. For example, Kid Galivan, what fights does do the bolo punch? What other fighters do the bolo punch? Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr. For example, Pernell Whitaker, who would turn back on an opponent while they were trying to hit him, and etc. List fighters, what they do or what used to do, and list the fights they did it in.

    THANKS!

Naseem Hamed- Used to dance, goad, laugh, pull faces - all sorts. Go look on Youtube.

Chris Eubank used to pose, vault the top rope on entrance, not go back to his corner at the end of a round...

erm.. Emmanuel Augustus used to dance brilliantly...

Jack Johnson used to talk to people at ringside while he was fighting.

Naseem Hamed. The man went crazy in the ring, all flash.

Duran often taunted his opponents later in his career. Watch his fights against Leonard and Davey Moore.

Jack Johnson, he played with his opponents, laughed at them, lifted them up when they were going down and just plain punished them.

Aaron Pryor, lots of intimidation tactics, staredowns, trashtalking, pointing and stuff. When he went down he laughed, swung his arm and ran at his opponents straight after to show he wasn't hurt.

James Toney, especially in the HW division.

Emmanuel Augustus is a showman too, he isn't a top fighter but he makes other fighters look foolish.

Eubank's uppercut on Denys Cronin make's Roy Jones's rooster left hook on Toney and behind-the-back punch on Kelly look ordinary

James Toney sticking his tongue out at Evander Holyfield in 2003 and making hand signals to the judges in the same fight. Calling out Jirov's corner during the fight with hand signals and talking to his corner after taking chopping right hands to the head by Jirov as if nothing happened! lol Pernell Whittaker was another great showman who never failed to put on a show. And of course Tyson just being Tyson!
