After losing to Frazier and Norton he still managed to come back and beat Foreman who looked to be unstoppable. I wouldn't exactly say Ali was out of his prime when he lost to Frazier or Norton, thus why I don't think he was unstoppable.

as fast as frazier was he wouldnt catch him in his prime, ali could dance all 15 rounds in his prime, and against norton he was coasting and not taking norton seriously. He lost to those 2 after his layoff for a few years, so no it wasnt his prime.

Chris Eubank, Wayne McCulloch, Rocky Marciano, Marvin Hagler, Carlos Monzon, Muhammad Ali and Pernell Whitaker all spring to mind.

Is he really worth mentioning in a thread about unstoppable fighters? The guy had a glass chin.

Your choices in the previous post were excellent though, particularly McCullough and Eubank.

Yeah I see your point mate I was just impressed with how he got up from murderous shots.
Cheers for comments regarding McCullough and Eubank , those two had 'Rocky' style chins.

Ray Mercer, till he was 41, took some good shots from Lewis, Holyfield, Witherspoon, Damiani, Morrison.
David Tua, still yet to touch the canvas in 53 fights, against Lewis, Ibeabuchi, Rahman, Maskaev, Moorer.

We're talking about the guy, who, whether due to chin, recooperation and savvy, or just pure defensive skills, was the fighter you simply can't see being stopped at his weight.

There are quite a few for me: Hagler, Monzon, Robinson, Ali, Whitaker, Mayweather, Gavilan, Greb, Hopkins, Toney, Pryor, maybe a few more.

                      Whatcha think?
LES DARCY, his defensive skills were either incredible or he was the toughest son of a ***** of them all. Darcy was never even knocked down let alone stopped in 50 fights. Yeah he's in the mix.
