I believe Taylor was robbed his due glory that night. Looking at what has happened to his health over the past 10 years makes it even more sad. Taylor was an outstanding boxer who unfortunately will be rembered for those 10 seconds of his career.

Both Duva and Steel deserve blame, but I have never come to grips with a fight being stopped with 2 seconds left.

It's hard to say who is the rightful winner. You can't deny that Chavez beat the life out of Taylor. Chavez proved to be the better fighter, in the long run. So Taylor won some rounds, in the long run it cost him too much.

Maybe there's no blame, as the fight ended the way fights should: with one man no longer able to fight! Taylor took three hundred bonebreaking punches and was a dead man walking. He landed over four hundred himself, but those had less effect, much less.

      I don't think it's that controversial

I don't see the controversy. Whether there was two seconds left in the fight or not, Taylor was out on his feet. Therefore Chavez won the fight fairly.
