a question about the heavyweight limit and moving up

i'd like to have more opinions on this.

Like Kayjay said you can come in at whatever you want below the limit but it's would the particular state sanction the fight. If the fighter was good enough I don't see why not. I'm sure Roy Jones would have been allowed to fight at 180lb. It also would have benefitted him like someone else said when moving back down. IMO that is the only reason coupled with his age that Tarver and Johnson beat him. Neither of them two are fit enough to lick his boots. No disrespect there but Jones is in a different class altogeather.
