Well a fight that almost happened but didnt was Micky Ward vs Julio Cesar Chavez. I'm a huge Ward fan, though I know he would have lost this fight decisively. But you KNOW he wouldnt have quit and it would have been a war, albeit possibly a short one. I have a fight poster where they are scheduled to fight on the undercard of a main event (I dont recall right now who the main was); one of the rarest items in my boxing collection.
