I think what's trying to be said here is that at the time they were talking about fighting, Patterson, a small heavyweight, had weighed only 187 3/4 lbs when he knocked out Archie Moore, was not really all that bigger than Robinson, who had fought as high as 165 1/2.

So, what's the big deal? You didn't think John Ruiz had too much weight over RJ when Jones beat his a$$, do you? Then, why the bad attitude here? This is not about a 147 pounder vs a 240 pounder, as you sarcastically said.
