Cool look forward to seeing it.

Hawkins - I know you're busy but you thought anymore on that consensus.

Poet - Fancy running a heavyweight tournament with that program of yours.

Sure! You want single elimination or round robin?

PS. I'm the biggest Iron Maiden fan in North America.

Could try both if it's not too much trouble. Get a few of us too agree the matchups on elimination.

What program do you use and where could I get a copy of it.

P.S. Iron Maiden rock, I love the Live after Death album.

I have two programs: Title Bout II and Data Boxing. Of the two I prefer Title Bout II as I think it's a bit more accurate and has alot more fighters. It also has alot of add-ons available for it and Data Boxing does.

                Title Bout II
                http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/tb/

                Cornerworks (for Title Bout add-ons)
                http://www.cornerwork.com/joomla/

                Data Boxing
                http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/i...c5a756d6d7a812

Both programs run in the $30-35 range.

Thanks poet that Title Bout II looks good, I'm gonna have to get that.

I remember when I was 17 and started work in the computer industry and there was a guy I worked with that had this boxing game where you could match any fighter against another, but it was done with paper and you had cards with all the fighters details on and you had to work it all out on this scoresheet as to who won. Can't remember what it was called or how it all actually worked but it was good.

That was the original Title Bout: A board game by Avalon Hill. The designer was Jim Trunzio. Title Bout II for the computer is ALSO designed by Jim Trunzio: It's the same guy!

Thought the name rang a bell (excuse the pun)

I've still got the game somewhere I think, and I remember thinking it would be good if it was put onto computer.

Me and my mate wrote a program years ago in BASIC but it wasn't that indepth.
