Not to mention that an OLD, weight drained (from losing almost 100 pounds) Jeffries, who hadn't fought in SIX YEARS, went 15 rounds with Johnson before his corner threw in the towel.

It's not, I just noticed I forgot to total up George Foremans points and left him off the list.

            I shall now update it.

I think so, but not everyone will agree. It's the same as my top4 and the rest isn't that far off from mine either.

My only real quibble is including Tunney and Moore on the list. Both fighters were Light-Heavyweights; Tunney having maybe 3 or 4 fights at Heavyweight and Moore moving up in weight only when he was on the downside of his career.

I agree with you on Moore, but even though Tunney only had a handful of figths at heavyweight he still beat Jack Dempsey twice and he is on many people top 10 list.

Tunney was a masterful boxer and as tough as they come, I would love to have seen him fight the great Joe Louis and I think he could have beaten Louis.

                    • Larry holmes behind Lewis? I have Holmes at 3 and think that is where he should be.

Why is Moore on this list and Ezzard Charles is not?
