Honestly Muhammad Ali had some pretty rocky decisions and some pretty rocky fights, however most Ali nuthuggers overlook this and its never mentioned...Honestly I think Ali had a very hard time with Frazier II (well all the frazier fights), and Foreman just to name a few. However most people say that they were difficult but nothing Ali couldn't handle...
IMO Ali had a relatively easy time with Frazier in the second fight. Ali blocked his left hook with effectiveness and was more on his toes than in the first and third fight. I scored it 9-2-1 for Ali, and I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible. No way did Frazier even come close to beating Ali in that fight. I honestly wouldn't give Frazier any more than three rounds in that fight.

1972-1974 George Foreman beats Jimmy Young IMO.
      Yes, in your opinion

I agree that at some times Ali got decisions because he was Muhammad Ali. But as for Frazier he had always had a tough time with Frazier. Beacuase Frazier was a monster. He is one of those under rated guys too. We all like to think we rated him perfectly but at the ned of the day where is he on our lists. That man was a freakin destroyer. 32-4-1 lifetime, a heavyweight champion and an Olympic gold-medalist. Seems pretty good to me.

If Foreman had somehow beaten Ali in Zaire and then RETIRED for good, his legacy would have grown far beyond whatever his legacy now is. And I consider Foreman an all time top 10 heavyweight champion already!

If he would have beat Ali and then retired, he would have defeated Frazier, Norton and Ali, the 3 best from that era. How could his stock not have risen
with those names on his resume'?

The problem in that is..he never ever ever ever ever would have beaten Ali. He would always be in his shadow.

Yes his stock'll have risen abit but people would still look back and say "yeah but Ali was past it when Foreman beat him" same how people do about Louis and Marciano, or Tyson and Lewis its just human nature people will side with their faves.

I would say that Ali had too much skill to fall as hard as Foreman did. What do you think?
To me Foreman is the second best heavyweight of all time. Not a bad thing to settle for.

Don't make it seem like Ali had an easy time with Frazier, granted Ali did well in the fight but it was closer then you make it seem. I'm not taking anything away from Ali but I'm just saying there were fights that could have gone another way...
