    Henry Armstrong

I think he is one of those guys who does get as much respect as he deserves. This is a man who had 3 of the 8 titles at the same time and should have won another but was robbed and the bout was a draw. Had he won that fight he would have held half of the titles at the same time. Yet on everyones pound-for-pound list he is not where he should be. What do you think?

Good post. He's definetely top 5 of all-time. I personally have him #3 under Ali and Robinson.

What are you talking about? hes on most ppls top 5s either at number 1 or number 2. The only bad thing about armstrong was he couldnt keep the pace thruout his career, if he would of hed for sure be #1.

You are ridiculous if you think that most people have him number 2 or 1. Look at the pound-for-pound lists of some of the guys who post on this site. I will agree that most smart people have him at a good number but not everyone. Not even close.

well most ppl i know do have him up there 1 or 2, usually number 2 under srr. I think the only reason why most dont have him up there is they dont do enough research.

That I can agree with. He is none by people like us who know boxing but casual fans have probably never heard of him. Which is why I started this thread in the first place.
