the one against gene fullmer in 1958, with 1 left hook he sent fullmer to the floor for the KO.

Best left hook ever thrown. Fullmer had an iron chin and that makes it more stunning.

bert sugar calls it ''the picture perfect punch''.
robinson was out of his prime (38 years old). they fought 2 more times but fullmer won them by decision.

The left hook. It was "poetry in motion". Perfection as a boxer and all punches were great but definitely the left.

Ditto- left hook against Fullmer but Ray had it all. Great right hand, uppercuts- you name it.
I also agreed it was his combinations that put many to sleep- He had power, leverage and speed!!

its already known that the left hook was his best punch, he had good power in both hands but his left was his best in many opinions
