      Damn, only like 12 knockouts in that many amateur fights, there's been a lot of guys that had something like that and then became KO machines.
      I love that interview, are there any more parts?

            yea, the fights did it to him, another sad story in boxing history. that is an example of extreme brain damage. Sadly, he will be diagnosed with parkinsons, and follow the same path as ali.

                Hearns talked just as badly when he first turned pro. He suffered a nose injury at the Kronx that caused him to sound this way against probably one of the top five greatest amateurs in history. Bernard Super Bad Mays. Do a search of threads in NSB for a conversation and article Scully posted about Super Bad and the Hearns injury. It is not brain damage though.
