I could easily put Tito in the Top four but not higher than that. Armstrong didn't reign at Welter all that long, but the Ross win is huge. Titos competition wasn't deep enough to be number one. Not sure about having Walcott so high since no film of him exists and he was very small and not sure how he would have faired head to head with the others. Tito made alot of defenses but so did Pipino Cuevas and he doesn't belong in the top ten.

Number one With out a doubt is robinson. If he is the greates p4p of all time he has to be the greatest welterweight.

        Sugar Ray Robinson

He was the best welterweight ever.

Not necessarily. He fought at Middleweight too and by your logic that means he's the greatest ever middle, but he's not. (In my opinion anyway).

But he is the greatest welter, though.

I agree with that. I just don't agree with Ben's logic.

I think you right, but it is a damn shame no tape exists of him at welter really not much I should say, Fusari and one more I think. Monzon is the best Middleweight imo. It is a toss up though.
