  • Chris Eubank's school of thought

"I realise there are five categories: good, very good, great, legend, and legend of your own time.

"If you win the title in a dignified manner with intellect and integrity then you are a good fighter.

"If you defend the title a number of times and don't dodge anybody then you are a very good fighter.

"If you lose the title in a dignified manner but come and win then you are a great fighter.

"To become a legend, you have to make your mark on boxing history.

"To become a legend of your own time, you have to win the fight you can't win. That's verisimilitude. That's the highest order. That's what Nigel Benn achieved with the Gerald McClellan fight."

    "It works like this:

"The pure boxer beats the slugger 65% to 90% of the time in accordance to his absorbance.

"The pure boxer beats the swarmer 60% to 95% of the time in accordance to his intellect.

"The boxer-puncher beats the slugger 60% to 90% of the time in accordance to attributes.

"The boxer-puncher beats the swarmer 85% to 95% of the time.

"And the unorthodox fighter will beat the orthodox fighter 65% to 85% of the time."

I wonder why he didn't say slugger vs swarmer or boxer vs box-hitter, or mention box-fighters?

        I'm not Juy's alt. Juy is white, I'm half-cast.
