Yeah i saw that movie too a long time ago. It was pretty good. I never heard of the judges being influenced by the mob and giving Marciano the win in that fight early in the movie. Im not sure if this movie was accurate.

He had some close decisions. Boxing being what it is, conspiracy theories abound. In those days it was the mob that was blamed for everything. Marciano knocked out enough credible opponents to establish his credentials as a true champion.
