The history books are in some serious **** now. Who the hell gives any credibility to Valuev beating Marciano's record, wich will probably be the case. He is actually underrated.

          Valuev still WBA champion!
WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev (45-0, 33 KOs) retained his title with a third round stoppage of Jameel McCline (38-6-3, 23 KOs) Saturday night at St Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. Action was slow in round one with neither fighter landing anything of consequence. Valuex connected with a good right hand in round two and outworked McCline most of that round. McCime started to have success with combinations in in round three, but after an exchange at the end of the round, McCline fell to the deck with an apparent injury to his left knee. McCline could not continue and Valuev was declared the winner. Next on the agenda for Valuev is mandatory challenger Ruslan Chagaev.

Wow he's not even going to let us pretend he might strike a fight with any of the other belt holders...

I think it's probably a record-padding thing. Maybe some nutjob is hoping that by Rocky Marciano's record being broken, attention will turn back to boxing. There should be a unification series first before anyone gives this guy such imprompto credit. Oh wait...the different organizations suck and don't want something good like that happening.
