I've never seen a bad Frank Fletcher fight, and in fact you were basically guaranteed top-notch excitement when he was on tv. Along with the Green fight, his fights against guys like Clint Jackson, Sammy NeSmith, and even his loss to Roldan were all filled with a great amount of excitment from what my memory tells me...

Along with guys like Saad, Little Red Lopez, Bobby Chacon, Boza, Limon (heck, I'll just say the late 70's/early 80's 130 pound division as a whole, save the running man, Sammy Serrano), Mancini, Arguello, Pryor, etc., etc., Fletcher was yet another one of those ever-so exciting "made for tv" fighters of that time, which seemed to be filled with fighters of that nature.

Caveman Lee vs. John LoCicero...May not have been the most exciting fight I have ever seen (it's up there, though...tough to name just one fight, though), but watching the last round of that fight may have been the most "excited" I've ever been in regards to great action.

I just watched the 5th round of Lee/LoCicero and the 10th round of Corrales/Castillo back-to-back, and for pure excitement & dramatics, Lee/LoCicero is easily the more exciting of the two rounds through these eyes, as difficult as that is for some younger fans to believe.

"LOCICERO IS COMING BACK LIKE A MADMAN!"

Every Nigel Benn fight at 160, as well as the Lou Gent and Gerald McClellan fights.

Benn excited us like no other (including Tyson), watching him live. He was just, the one, man.

Smokin Bert Cooper vs Michael Moorer, both fighters had been down and hurt, Moorer ends it with a right to the body and one of the most vicious uppercuts I've ever seen. Great war.
