HOLLYWOOD, Fla.—Devin Haney is ready to have his say in a red-hot lightweight division. The unbeaten titlist from Las Vegas puts his belt on the line for the second time as he faces Yuriorkis Gamboa this Saturday, live from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Frank Warren, co-promoter for WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fuyr, explained that there is zero interest in facing Dillian Whyte on December 5 in the UK. Whyte was scheduled to face Alexander Povetkin in a rematch on November 21. The fight was postponed on Tuesday, after it was revealed that Povetkin had tested positive for COVID-19.
Olympic bronze medal winner Filip Hrgovic is far from impressed with his looming rival, fellow Croation Alen 'The Savage' Babic. This past Sunday night, Babic took out overmatched Niall Kennedy in the third round. Kennedy had gone down twice before the fight was waved off.
Alen Babic says he hopes Niall Kennedy will put up a good fight, so he can put on a performance to honour the memory of his hero, Joe Frazier, on Sunday in Milton Keynes. The 29-year-old Croatian heavyweight, who has been given the nickname Savage, in honour of his fearsome style, goes for his fifth professional win against Kennedy and is happy that the Irishman is promising to take him “into the trenches”.
Filip Hrgovic (11-0, 9 KOs) will face Rydell Booker (26-3, 13 KOs) on November 7th behind closed doors at the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida, live on DAZN in the US and RTL in Croatia.
