Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions have signed heavyweight Fabio Wardley to a multi-fight promotional agreement.
The undefeated 29-year-old Wardley (17-0-1, 16 KOs) from Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom, joins Queensberry ahead of his rematch with Frazer Clarke on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol in Saudi Arabia on October 12, as part of a Riyadh Season card
In his previous Riyadh Season appearance in October 2023, Wardley earned a seventh-round technical knockout over David Adeleye, a fellow Queensberry stablemate, on the 'Battle of the Baddest' card. Wardley then fought to a draw with Clarke, the 2020 Olympic super heavyweight bronze medallist, in March 2024.
“I'm at a crucial stage in my career and aligning with the best promoter is vital,” Wardley said. “I'm thrilled to join Frank and George [Warren] at Queensberry. Their track record of putting together massive fights and shows has me excited about our future together!”
Frank Warren added: “The heavyweight division is incredibly exciting right now, and Fabio has proven himself to be a significant part of it with standout performances. We’re delighted he’s chosen Queensberry at this pivotal time. After October, I believe he’s ready to challenge anyone in the top 10.”
Wardley’s manager, Michael Ofo, commented: “Having Frank Warren and Queensberry on board to promote Fabio is fantastic. They’ve handled nearly every major heavyweight fight in recent years, and we look forward to big nights ahead with them.”
