All Star Boxing, President Felix "Tuto" Zabala Jr held a press conference in Managua at the Japanese Park Auditorium to announce the signing of WBO Latino flyweight champion Evleing "La Colocha" Ortega of Acoyapa, Nicaragua to a multi-year pact. This is the first time in All Star's company history to sign a female fighter, breaking a 60-year barrier.

"We are ecstatic to welcome recently crowned Latina champion Colocha Ortega to our company. This is a sign of evolving times, Ortega is a hard working individual, it will be great journey towards a world title shot in 2024," stated Felix "Tuto" Zabala, President of All Star Boxing.

Ortega is on a hot streak since linking with Marcello Sanchez of Pinolero Boxing, who has been able to guide her career. After a slow start, Ortega found her groove, stacking up 5 wins under her new team.

"My emotions are through the roof. I'm honored to be the first female fighter of this company. After I won my belt, I broke down in tears" she said "Being champion means the world to me, Now I will take next step in my career. I will be back in the ring Dec.1 in Panama and return back home for a great 2024," Ortega said.
