Former WBA super middleweight champ and current mandatory challenger for now vacant EU title Tyron Zeuge, 23-1-1, has signed with AGON Sports & Events.
Zeuge was previously with Team Sauerland but now joins another former Sauerland fighter in Jack Culcay at AGON.
As for Zeuge´s next fight and AGON´s next show there will be an announcement soon.
Russian light heavyweight Igor Mikhalkin, 22-2, is now mandatory challenger for the EBU light heavyweight title currently held by Dominic Boesel. This is a very interesting matchup and is also a clash between EC Boxing and SES, two of the biggest promoters on the German scene right now.
Mikhalkin previously held the title and defended it three times before moving on to win the IBO title and then challenge Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev.
The Dennis Ceylan, 19-2-2, vs Jesus Sanchez, 9-1, fight for the vacant EU featherweight title was first set for November 24 but then Ceylan fell ill and it was moved to January 19.
It´s now back to purse bids again due to a change in management for Sanchez and thus the signed contract is invalid. The EBU have set November 21 as deadline for purse bids or agreements.
Super welters Ahmed Rossi, 4-0, and Simon Henriksson, 5-2, clash for the vacant Swedish title December 1 in Skovde. The fight is scheduled for six rounds and is the first ever Swedish title fight in this weight division. Henriksson vs Rossi tops a pro-am show
