The coronavirus have now caused EuroProm in France to postpone Matteo Signani´s defence of the EBU middleweight title against Maxime Beaussire until June 9. The fight was first scheduled for March 21 but Signani - as Italy as a whole - is pretty much "locked up" for the time being.

June 9 it must be said is depending on how things develop with the virus.

Sandor Martin´s defence of the EBU super lightweight title against Danish challenger Enock Poulsen is still without a date or site. Promoter Mogens Palle is looking at date in May but nothing is set while Palle won purse bids the parties have yet to negotiate the details for the fight. Again, the corona-virus play a part and so does what plans Team Martin may have for the champion.

Norwegian light heavyweight Alexander Hagen (14-2-1) takes on Czech veteran Tomas Adamek (29-19-2) on April 24 in Oslo with the vacant Eurasian Boxing Parliament title at stake. Adamek is well known in Norway and holds a win over newly crowned WBFed ruler Tim-Robin Lihaug.

As for the EBP, it is affiliated with the IBF.

 Cruisers Simen Nysaether (10-0), Kevin Melhus (7-0) and Kent Erik Baadstad (6-1) are all featured on the undercard.

WBO female super bantamweight champion Dina Thorslund (14-0) defends the title May 16 at home in Struer, Denmark. Thorslund takes on Gabriela Bouvier (15-10-1). The show is staged by TK Promotion and features the likes of super lightweight Oliver Mollenberg (5-0-1) and welterweight Puriya Haidari (10-2).

French heavyweight Tony Yoka (7-0) won´t be making his US-debut as planned on March 14.

According to Yoka, the reason is that the promoters have been unable to find a suitable opponent. And when the promoter is Top Rank one has to wonder what has gone wrong.

Yoka vs TBA was set to go ahead on the undercard to Shakur Stevenson vs. Miguel Marriaga in New York City.
