Euri Cedeno, the 2020 Dominican Olympian, came in under the middleweight limit for Thursday night’s eight-round main event fight bout at Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The bout will stream on DAZN and is promoted by King's Promotions.
Cedeno hit the scales at 158.8lbs, while Ulices Tovar came in slightly lighter at 158.1lbs.
Cedeno, 10-0-1 (9 KOs), fought three times in 2024 and will be fighting for the first time this year. Cedeno, 25, enters on a three-fight knockout streak, as the southpaw who turned pro in 2022 is looking to have a big year.
Rivera, 11-1 (7 KOs), enters on a two-fight win streak. Rivera, a 25-year-old from Guanajuato, Mexico, lost to Alexandre Gaumont in 2023.
The co-feature will see Bryce Mills, 17-1 (6 KOs), a popular ticket seller from Liverpool, New York against Alex Martin, 18-6 (6 KOs), of Hammond, Indiana.
Mills, 23, weighed in at 139lbs, while Martin, 35, came in at 141.2lbs.
BoxingScene reached out to the PR representative for the promotion who explained that Martin met the contractual weight and wasn’t over.
Mills enters on a 11-fight win streak and is coming off a stoppage win over Mike Ohan Jnr in November. Martin, a tough veteran, enters on a two-fight losing streak, with his losses coming to Pedro Campa and Oscar Duarte.
