NEW YORK – Errol Spence Jr. posed an amusing question to Terence Crawford while Crawford continued to use fishing metaphors to promote their welterweight showdown next month.
Errol Spence Jr. recently paid a visit to the Dallas Cowboys to watch his favorite football team up close. The Texas native Spence has headlined shows at AT&T Stadium, the palatial home arena of the Cowboys in Arlington, as well as The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, the practice facility for the Cowboys, in four out of his last five fights.
His build might be a bit smaller than most welterweights, but Terence Crawford has never had an issue with facing larger men. Since officially moving up in weight in 2018, Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) has sent all of his foes to the showers much earlier than they anticipated. But, regardless of the 35-year-old proving that he has deadly power, Errol Spence Jr. isn’t convinced that he’s in grave danger when the two face off on July 29th.

Patience has been asked of Jaron Ennis. And while he’s been reluctant, he’s closed his mouth, gnashed his teeth, and shown restraint. His frustrations might be at an all-time high, but the 25-year-old has spent his time building his name on the carcasses of numerous welterweight contenders.
He might come off as a bit quiet and unassuming but Errol Spence Jr. has always kept tabs on his competition, most notably, Terence Crawford.
