Paulie Malignaggi’s Picks: Forget Spence and Crawford, Tszyu Deserves Fundora Rematch

Trainer Robert Garcia has confirmed his interest in training former unified world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. in the wake of the fighter’s split with Derick James.

The WBO on Monday ordered new junior middleweight titleholder Sebastian Fundora to launch negotiations with unbeaten, three-division champion Terence Crawford rather than Errol Spence Jr.

Despite Tim Tszyu's loss on Saturday, his promoter contends that the fighter's stock has risen – and that he could still move into a fight with the likes of Errol Spence or Terence Crawford.

Tim Tszyu recalled on stage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Thursday how he dreamed one night 15 years ago, at the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight, of one day headlining his own Vegas card.

Derrick James has a lot on his plate at the moment, opening with how best to rein in an apparently distracted Ryan Garcia and closing with what appears to be a looming split with his best-known fighter, former three-belt welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. In a “Cigar Talk” interview posted on YouTube with host Naji, James revealed the extent of the strain between he and Spence, who was knocked down three times and stopped in the ninth round by then-undisputed welterweight champion Terence Crawford in July.

At Thursday's Los Angeles press conference for the April 20 Devin Haney-Ryan Garcia fight, Oscar De La Hoya said the bout would prove even bigger than Garcia's 2023 matchup with Gervonta Davis.

By Lucas Ketelle - Jacob Macalolooy was the viral sparring partner of Errol Spence with the video that circulated the internet, now he is a pro boxer looking to make a name for himself.

It’s difficult to trap Canelo Alvarez against the ropes thanks to his slippery defense, but it was even harder to lock him into a long-term deal. For years the Mexican star sauntered around the boxing landscape listening to the best offers. Once he heard what was out there, he signed on for a transient amount of time.
