Errol Spence Jr. is finally ready to break his silence.

The unbeaten, unified welterweight titlist from Desoto, Texas will make his first televised appearance in more than two months as he will appear in an exclusive interview during this weekend’s offering of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox (Saturday, 8:00pm ET). The session will mark his first public comments since his horrific car crash this past October in downtown Dallas.

Fox Sports announced the interview as being part of Saturday’s show, though not specifying a precise time for the segment. The exclusive will come as part of a Fox-televised tripleheader, topped by the highly anticipated rematch between reigning junior middleweight titlist Tony Harrison and former beltholder Jermell Charlo.

Given the two months worth of media and public demand—often reaching points of a false sense of entitlement—it seems that a first look at present-day Spence will draw even greater attention to the telecast.

Spence Jr. was hospitalized for six days following his single-car crash on Oct. 10, after which he was charged with a single count of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), filed as a Class B misdemeanor for which he not will be required to serve jail time.

Of greater public concern was his health, considering the manner in which he was ejected from his luxury sports car, which was totaled in the wreck.  Those who have been thirsting for updates and a glimpse into his private life and recovery process will finally get a fresh look on Saturday in primetime.

Spence (26-0, 21KOs) is coming off of a thrilling 12-round split decision win over Shawn Porter (30-3-1, 17KO) in their welterweight title unification clash this past September in Los Angeles, California. The bout aired live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View, as did Spence’s other win on the year, a 12-round shutout of Mikey Garcia in their battle of unbeaten pound-for-pound entrants this past March in Arlington, Texas.
