Erkan Teper vs. Robert Helenius on September 29, Gerber is Out

The heavyweight clash between Erkan Teper and Robert Helenius is back on, reports German website boxen1.com.

The two were recently co-challengers for the EU title but no deal was made and then Teper signed for a fight against Edmund Gerber for September 29 in Stuttgart with the vacant IBF I/C title at stake.

However, according to boxen1.com, Gerber has pulled out due to illness and in comes Helenius, on late notice, with about a month to go.

These two were as previously reported on to fight in December of 2015 but Teper pulled out due to injury and it was then also revealed there was a positive doping test. Teper then lost back to back fights against Christian Hammer and Mariusz Wach but has since scored some wins.

Helenius just came back from a hand injury and outscored for the second time Belorus Yuri Bykhautsov.

German light heavy Serge Michel, 7-0, headlines Petko´s Boxpromotion´s show in Traunreut on October 6 and take on Trinidad´s Sheldon Lawrence, 11-1, with the vacant WBC International title at stake. Michel is currently in Canada sparring with IBF champ Artur Beterbiev.

Heavyweight Erik Pfeifer have signed with EC Box Promotion in Hamburg (Germany) and makes his pro debut on September 15 in Luebeck. Pfeifer have been among the best heavyweights in the amateurs for some time now and have also been a "pro" with AIBA.

Female featherweight Sarah Mahfoud, 5-0, takes on Stephanie Ducastel, 8-4-1, on September 15 in Copenhagen. This fight is one of four main events on this Danish Fight Night promotion. In the other three it´s Jeppe Morell vs Eduardo Ruben Acosta (light heavyweight), Detleft Rossing vs Viktor Polyakov (cruiser) and Enock Poulsen vs Renald Garrido (super lightweight).

EBU middleweight champion Kamil Szeremeta, 17-0, defends the title against Spaniard Ruben Diaz, 25-1-2, September 22 in Lomza, Poland, reports the EBU.

Szeremeta won the then vacant title in February by beating Alessandro Goddi and this his first defence. Diaz previously held the EU title and beat veteran Rafal Jackiewicz in his last fight.
