Welterweight Dusty Hernandez-Harrison stopped James Wayka in the first round late Saturday night at the Masonic Temple in Norfolk, Virginia.

The 21-year-old Hernandez-Harrison improves to 28-0, 15 KOs. Wayka, who has lost his last six bouts in a row, drops to 16-14-1, 8 KOs.

Hernandez-Harrison was coming off a fifth round technical knockout win over Carlos Winston Velasquez in Miami, Florida on August 15.

Word is Hernandez-Harrison could fight on the undercard of the Miguel Cotto-Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez fight at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. on November 21.

Hernadez-Harrison, who hails from Washington, D.C., is promoted by Roc Nation.
