Chess match leading up to a one punch KO win for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Cuba's Luis Ortiz had a 28-17 edge in power landing leading up to getting KO'd in the seventh round.
MGM Grand, Las Vegas - WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) was patient, but it only took one punch to knock Luis Ortiz (32-1, 27 KOs) out in the seventh round.
In their first bout, which took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Wilder stopped Ortiz in the tenth round. Wilder dropped Ortz in the fifth, Ortiz had him in trouble during the seventh round round, but Wilder rallied back and dropped him two more times in the tenth for the knockout.
