Denzel Bentley: record, next fight and profile →
Mick Hall had taken more than an enough punishment Saturday night. After a one-sided sixth round against Denzel Bentley, referee Steve Gray understandably stopped their scheduled 10-round middleweight match in London. The flashy Bentley beat up the brave but overmatched Hall for much of their bout on the Joe Joyce-Michael Wallisch undercard.
With the biggest test of his career looming overhead, Joe Joyce first has to take care of present-day business. The unbeaten rising heavyweight is set for his first fight in more than a year as he faces Michael Wallisch in a 10-round battle. Their clash tops a five-fight telecast airing live Saturday on BT Sport in the United Kingdom and streaming live on ESPN+ (2:00pm ET) in the United States from a closed-to-the-public BT Sport Studio lot in Stratford, East London, England.
JOE JOYCE has rejigged his training arrangements ahead of his return to the ring to prepare for his huge and much-anticipated encounter with Daniel Dubois in the autumn. The Heavyweight rivals are both in action at BT Sports studios when they face German opposition ahead of their clash at London’s O2 on Saturday October 24.
MARK HEFFRON REVEALED that he would be more than open to a battle of the middleweight bangers against Denzel Bentley if there is a belt at stake. Heffron moved to 24-1 on Saturday in Leeds with a first round stoppage of the usually durable Rui Manuel Pavanito and is now on a sequence of three straight victories since his only setback against Liam Williams in December of last year.
Daniel Dubois looks to remain active on the heels of his biggest win to date, once again taking on an unbeaten opponent. The undefeated Londoner faces Ghana’s Ebenezer Tetteh in a scheduled 10-round heavyweight tilt Friday evening at Royal Albert Hall in the Kensington district of London, England.
After a successful inaugural 1st show in December, Tricky Entertainment will be bringing a fight card in Washington D.C on Saturday May 18th at The ESA-Entertainment & Sports Arena. In the main event, former world title challenger Dominic Wade will take part in a super middleweight bout for IBO and WBC Regional titles.
Denzel Bentley could not hide his delight over signing promotional terms with Frank Warren and joining up with the Hall of Fame promoter's richly talented team of champions and contenders. The charismatic 24-year-old from Battersea has built up an 8-0 record to date, with seven of those wins coming via blistering KO.
