WBO #1 ranked cruiserweight and a future world title challenger Denis Lebedev (21-0, 16 KOs) started the main phase of his preparations for the upcoming collision with German WBO champion Marco “Captain” Huck (30-1, 23 KOs). Lebedev will arrange his training camp in the native city of Stary Oskol, Belgorod Oblast, abreast MMA world superstars Fedor and Alexander Emelianenko.

“Denis has already headed to Stary Oskol. He will soon start sparring sessions, which will be conducted at “Alexander Nevsky” Palace of Sports. Thus Denis will train with Emelianenko brothers. They are friends and I think this unique experience can hardly be overestimated”, reflected Lebedev’s manager Vladimir Hryunov.

He then continued, “The next week several notable foreign fighters will arrive in Stary Oskol to help Lebedev in his preparations. But for now Denis will be studying and improving his martial skills with the best MMA specialists on the Earth to be well prepared for all those dirty tricks which “Pretty Boy” Huck has to offer him”.

Denis Lebedev and Marco Huck collide on Dec. 18 at Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin, Germany as a headliner of the boxing event, promoted by Sauerland Event.
