WBO interim-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (32-1-1, 12 KOs) is looking for a big opportunity after winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Jessie Vargas (26-1, 9 KOs) this past Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Prior to the fight, the World Boxing Organization had ordered the winner to face undefeated contender Sadam Ali (22-0, 13 KOs).
Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is very interested in making that fight for November, as part of the big card that his company is planning in Dubai. He believes Ali will be a big hit with the Muslim fans and help the overall attraction of the show.
Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, who promotes Ali, is also on board with the fight.
“Timothy Bradley vs. Sadam Ali next,” De La Hoya said on the social networks.
Although Ali had told BoxingScene.com that he wanted an interim-fight before facing Bradley, he was still very excited about the possibility of facing Bradley on a November date in Dubai.
