According to a report by TVA Sports, former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux will back in action on December 15th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, as part of the undercard to the Canelo Alvarez vs. Rocky Fielding card.

Also on the card, junior welterweight contender Yves Ulysse Jr. is slated to see action.

Lemieux was in action on September 15th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

On the card, he blew away Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan in one round - as part of the HBO Pay-Per-View undercard to Canelo's rematch with Gennady Golovkin.

Back in May, Lemieux won a twelve round unanimous decision over Karim Achour.

Lemieux as viewed as a frontrunner to face Canelo in December - but the Mexican star instead opted to move up in weight to the super middleweight division for a fight with Fielding for the WBA "regular" championship.

Johnson has been out of the ring since August of 2017, when he was knocked out in a final eliminator with Sergiy Derevyanchenk - which snapped a six fight winning streak for Johnson.

As far as Ulysse, he made a splash on HBO in December 2017, when he dominated undefeated Cletus Seldin to a unanimous decision win over twelve rounds. He came back to the ring in June of this year with a lopsided win over another unbeaten boxer, Ernesto Espana. He's won two fights in a row since suffering a ten round split decision loss to Steve Claggett.
