According to Dan Rafael, former cruiserweight champion David Haye will not be facing WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko on September 12 at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, Germany. Haye's manager, Adam Booth, said a deal could not be reached with Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente and adviser Shelly Finkel.
Instead, Haye will not target a fight with the seven-foot WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev, with a tentative date of November 7 in Germany.
