NEW YORK – Junior Younan didn’t even need a round to end what was supposed to be a difficult fight for him Saturday night at Barclays Center.

Danny Garcia was one pound overweight the last time he arrived at Barclays Center for a weigh-in. Garcia made the welterweight limit that day for his 12-round fight versus Ivan Redkach in January 2020, but the Philadelphia native knew he wouldn’t be able to fight in the 147-pound division much longer. The former junior welterweight and welterweight champion had no such issue Friday.

New Yorker Junior Younan, who returns to action this Saturday night in Brooklyn, aims to break into world rankings in 2022. Younan returns on the undercard of the junior middleweight clash between Danny Garcia and Jose Benavidez Jr. at the Barclays Center.

Sultan Zaurbek won the WBO European super featherweight title as he defeated Ronnie Clark in the main event of an action-packed MTK Fight Night in Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Tursynbay Kulakhmet will take on an extremely dangerous opponent during his homecoming next month - as he meets hard-hitting Ukrainian Stanyslav Skorokhod when MTK Fight Night heads to Kazakhstan.

Steve Lovett was one round away from what would have been a certain points win. He never made it to the final bell, as Craig Baker rallied to score a dramatic 8th round knockout.

LAKELAND, FL. - Undefeated Dauren Yeleussinov (5-0, 4 KOs) battles New York's Devaun Lee (7-2, 3 KOs) in an eight-round middleweight bout that highlights undercard action on Sunday, June 12 from the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, FL.

New York, NY - On Wednesday night, DiBella Entertainment (DBE) hosted an action-packed Broadway Boxing card in front of a raucous sold-out crowd at NYC's famed B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, sponsored by Manfredi Auto Group and Everlast, headlined by the always-exciting Bryant "Peewee" Cruz, of Port Chester, NY. While Martin Cardona, 129.4 lbs., of Tucson, AZ, attempted to box and move, Cruz, 131 lbs., effortlessly cut the ring off, often countering his adversary's jab with quick overhand rights. Cruz took advantage whenever he had Cardona trapped against the ropes, digging shots to the midsection. The powerful left hook of Cruz was on display as well and it was clear that Cardona was breaking down. Feeling that their charge was sustaining too much punishment, Cardona's corner elected not to send him out for the fifth frame, resulting in a TKO victory for Cruz. With the impressive victory, Cruz improved to 15-0 (8 KOs), while Cardona fell to 19-6 (14 KOs).
