Former world champion Carlos Cuadras is very familiar with super flyweights Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez and Juan Francisco "Gallo" Estrada.

Gonzalez and Estrada will collide in a rematch, for the WBC, WBA world titles, on March 13 in Dallas, Texas.

Cuadras fought both boxers in the last few years.

He suffered a twelve round decision loss to Gonzalez in 2016, and he dropped two fights to Estrada - a razor close twelve round decision in 2017 and a stoppage loss in eleven rounds in their 2020 rematch.

The Mexican veteran expects a real battle when Gonzalez and Estrada collide for a second time.

“I say it will be a war in the ring, they are both great fighters and it will be a very strong fight. Roman always comes forward and throws a lot of punches, he pushes the fight, throws many combinations and defends himself well, that makes it very complicated, besides the fact that he is always pressuring. My favorite to win [this rematch] is Estrada, because he has raised his level a lot, he is strong and knows how to handle the fight well, he has a good corner and that gives him the ability to have a very good strategy - after all this is a chess game where you have to move the pieces at the right time," explained Cuadras to Prensa.

“I don't think it will go by knockout, but it will be a tight decision. I view Estrada as a 60 percent favorite and I give Roman a 40 percent chance. The key for Chocolatito will be that he does not panic and he needs to avoid creating too much space...he needs to always be at the short distance, because at that range he unloads his best punches - and for Estrada it's convenient for him to fight at mid and long range.

"It would not be a surprise if Chocolatito wins, they are both at a high level, they know how to hit and have a respectable punch. I hope it is a good fight, I know it will be clean because they are both clean [fighters]."
