WBC Diamond champion at middleweight, Sergio Martinez, sent a reminder message to junior middleweight Vanes Martirosyan. During a recent news posting on BoxingScene.com, Vanes called for a fall fight with Martinez and expressed his confidence in beating the Argentine pound-for-pound champion.

Martinez sent a message to Vanes on Twitter and refreshed his memory about an article that appeared on BoxingScene two years ago [Click Here To Read]. During that time period, Vanes and Martinez engaged in a wild war of words on BoxingScene.

Martinez doesn't see any reason to face Vanes at the moment. He said the fight made a lot of sense back then, but it doesn't make any sense right now.

"If you wan't a big name, phone dad [Bob] Arum and fight [Miguel] Cotto and [Julio Cesar Chavez] Jr. You lost the opportunity. Good luck! Two years ago it would have been a good fight, but now it makes no sense," Martinez wrote.
