Women’s #1 Pound-for-Pound Fighter in the World and Boxing’s Only Undisputed World Champion, ‘The First Lady’, Cecilia Braekhus, (34-0, 9 KO’s), of Oslo, Norway won a ten-round unanimous decision on Saturday night over WBC Interim Junior Middleweight Champion Inna ‘The Ice Queen’ Sagaydakovskya, (7-0-1, 3 KO’s) at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Scores were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93.
Olympic Stadium, Moscow, Russia - WBA, WBO, WBO, IBF, IBO welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus (34-0, 9 KOs) had way too much for previously undefeated Inna Sagaydakovskaya (7-1, 3 KOs). Braekhus dominated the action from start to finish, by outboxing and outlanding the far less experienced contender over ten rounds for an easy unanimous decision win.
This should be the time when Cecilia Braekhus starts taking her foot off the gas. At 36, she is the undisputed welterweight champion of the world, a status that comes with five belts these days. She’s also firmly entrenched in the number one spot on the pound-for-pound list, and has already made history twice this year by becoming the first winner of the Boxing Writers Association of America’s Female Fighter of the Year award and one-half of the first women’s bout to be televised on HBO.

Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (14-0, 11 KOs) collides with Russia's Murat Gassiev (26-0, 19 KOs) in the World Boxing Super Series Grand finale. The bout, which takes place on July 21 in Moscow, Russia, will be one of the rarer fights, which will define a truly undisputed world champion, as per the Common Rules, meaning all four of the belts, considered major – WBC / WBA / IBF / WBO – will be up for grabs in the contest. The legendary Bernard Hopkins and current P4P top contender Terrence Crawford are the only two, who have ever brought all of those pieces together.
