Undefeated heavyweight prospect Shane Cameron (19-0, 17KOs) of New Zealand destroyed late sub Jucimar Francisco Hipolito (12-7) of Brazil, at the Waitakere Trust Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.

It was a night of easy for Cameron, who barely broke a sweat as he knocked Hipolito down three times in the first round. Following the third and final knockdown, referee Lance Revill had seen enough and called a halt to the action at 1:59 of the first.

Hipolito was a late sub for Kelvin Davis, who suffered an injury and was forced to pull out of the contest. Fans showered Hipolito with boos for his effortless performance.

"There's no secret he wasn't up to the task," Cameron told the New Zealand Herald . "The expectation when I fight is it's going to be bloody, there's going to be a war all the time but this guy couldn't keep up. You do get these easy ones. It unfortunate Kelvin had his injury but the show had to go on."

Manager Ken Reinsfield expects Cameron back in the ring in August-September and then they are targeting a potential bout with former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.
