Broner Vows To Be Full-Time Rapper - Unless $10 Million is Offered

Former four division champion Adrien Broner (33-4-1, 24 KOs) is still without any particular comeback plans.

Broner has been out of the ring since January of 2019, when he lost a lopsided twelve round unanimous decision to WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Broner has gone 0-1-2 in his last three fights. The 30-year-old boxer has been without a win since February of 2017, when he picked up a split decision over Adrian Granados.

A few weeks ago, Broner took to social media and made what many felt was an outrageous demand for $10 million in order to return to the ring.

Broner is hoping to get a multi-million dollar offer from Showtime Sports head Stephen Espinoza, who currently has expressed no interest in even entertaining a financial discussion with Broner.

The talkative boxer took to social media and posted what appeared to be a list of songs for an upcoming album. Over the years, Broner has dabbled in the music industry with several rap songs and guest appearances on tracks for other artists.

According to Broner, until he receives a satisfactory financial offer - he will focus all of his energy on pursuing a full-time career as a rapper. He vented a bit, regarding the fact that nobody has reached out to discuss his financial requirements to fight again.

“I haven’t heard from Stephen Espinoza. Me and [my manager] Al [Haymon], we talk every day but ain’t nobody talking about that $10 million. So, I take that as I’m still retired. So what I’m going to do is just focus on my album, and I’m just a rapper. I’m a rapper now. Sh-t. Until they talk about my $10 million, I’m not going to be in the ring. So my album is dropping, and it is what it is," Broner said.

Everybody in the world can't be a rapper. The average person has almost no chance to make it in the rap game. Ever heard of a real job? That formula works for millions of people. He should try it
